Beautiful Brooke- TRAILER!

This film was such a labor of love, devotion, and tenacity for everyone involved. We wrapped this film back in March of 2013 and it has been in post-production for the past three years. This film holds so many wonderful memories for me of my first apartment in Chicago, my first Principal Role in an independent film, working into all hours of the night, working with some of my oldest friends doing what I absolutely love- making movies! I am so grateful to look at this trailer and know I consider everyone in it a dear friend.

I've been making art and comedy and theatre with my co-star, Annie Rix for almost ten years. We started acting together in our all female sketch comedy group written by men, The Babymakers at Illinois State University back in 2007. I had so much fun playing alongside her in this picture. It really made us closer. She is a delightful actress and such a lovely, giving, hilarious person. I hope to get the opportunity to make more films with her!

The whole cast is almost entirely made up of Illinois State University Alumni, which just makes my heart feel so warm and slaps a big smile on my face from ear to ear! I feel just so proud and happy to be apart of this- as Kermit The Frog says: "Yeah, well, I've got a dream too. But it's about singing and dancing and making people happy. That's the kind of dream that gets better the more people you share it with. And, well, I've found a whole bunch of friends who have the same dream. And, well, it kind of makes us like a family."
