This past weekend was quite a full one of performing! First, Saturday my UCB Improv 101 class went up at UCB Franklin to perform in our graduation show! I was pretty terrified going in, but once we all warmed up together and got on stage, I saw there was nothing left but to just do it! I even initiated one of the scenes, which is kind of a big deal if you know me at all. I'm usually great at going out and helping build the world, but I challenged myself to initiate and got it done! Our teacher after the show gave us some notes, but Pam seemed over all pleased with the fact that no one screwed up AND that we came up with some interesting ideas!
It was also pretty cool to get to perform on the same stage as some of the awesome performers I've gotten to see at UCB Franklin like my fabulous teacher Pam Murphy, Horatio Sans, Betsy Sodaro, Zach Woods and Noël Wells, and of course legends such as Matt Besser and Matt Walsh!

Look! People are laughing at me! lol

Here's our entire UCB Improv 101 class! This was one of the best classes and I am lucky to have been apart of it! Such cool, talented, fun people and I feel I've made friends for life!
Then Sunday, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of working with one of his friends, film director, Russo Namalata on his short film! We shot at one of my favorite places so far in Los Angeles, The Silver Dream Factory! Can't release too much on this one yet, but it was a good and easy day of shooting and I was so happy to be in front of the camera again!

It was a crazy busy weekend, but so fun and full of daring myself to go farther than I have before! Plus, Mike and I got to reward ourselves with Chicago's own Portillo's as it's mere blocks away from The Silver Dream Factory! Does it get any better than that?
